Seven SBDC Centers Provide Business Advice
The SBDC Network/LAVSB began in January 2006 after the Long Beach Community College District’s (LBCCD) Office of Economic and Resource Development, a small business assistance provider helping Long Beach businesses, became a lead center to provide business assistance throughout LAVSB counties.
The LBCCD manages, oversees and operates a network of small business development centers under contract with the U.S. Small Business Administration. The SBA provides funding and sets high, professional standards that each SBDC must meet.
The Long Beach Lead Center office coordinates and manages the work of seven SBDC Service Centers, from Santa Barbara south to Long Beach and from Santa Monica west to Pomona & Claremont. For information on each location and links to their individual websites, click on:
